Beetle upper torsion arm.
We are proud to introduce our Upper Suspension Arm, which exceeds the quality of the original VW design. Our Torsion Arms are manufactured in one piece using a steel forging process, which provides them with higher tensile and fatigue strength compared to traditional casting methods. All our trailing arms are made in Germany, machined on multi-axis CNC machines to meet the highest dimensional accuracy standards.
Our Upper trailing arm accommodates an 18mm square torsion spring and is machined to a nominal journal diameter of 37mm. It differs from the early version in the trapezoidal seal cross-section.
WW2VW late version of the trailing arm is suitable for aircooled Volkswagen cars produced between 1943 and August 1949 (from chassis number 45860 to front axle number 125338), such as the KdF Beetle Type 60, Type 82E, Type 82 Kubelwagen, and VW Beetle Type 1 “split window”. It features a symmetrical design that fits both sides of the vehicle.
