Reproduction of OEM desing VW spring plate cover. When used in conjunction with two rubber bushings, this steel cover creates a pivoting point for the rear radius arm.
Sheet metal cap for the spring plate can also be used as a substitute for the Magnesium/Aluminium torsion arm cover used in KdF era Volkswagen vechicles produced before 1943.
This type of torsion bar cover can be used in a wide variety of aircolled VW cars including Beetle Type 1, as a substitute for: KdF Beetle Type 60, Type 82E, Type 82 Kubelwagen, Type 166 Schwimmwagen.
