This soft top frame pivot (Verdecklager) is a high-quality reproduction manufactured exactly like the original part installed in KdF factory production.
The part is pressed, not hand-made, and matches the original in shape, thickness, and details. It is ready for installation in the body of the Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen, with pre-drilled holes for riveting. The upper section of the part is welded to the body, as per original construction.
This component fits all Volkswagen Type 82 and Type 21 Kübelwagen models from the beginning of production in August 1940 until the end of production in 1945.
