Today’s market is flooded with aftermarket inox (stainless-steel) vintage sport mufflers for 25hp and 30hp 1200cc engines, which may provide some speed gains and a performance look, but are far from being similar to the original Volkswagen design. With the help of original documentation and a NOS (New Old Stock) Type 2 muffler as a pattern, we have recreated all the correct OEM features such as casted flanges, correct diameter runners, same sheet metal thickness, and internal baffle dimensions and location.

Silencer is coated in heat resistant paint. The set includes pipe clamps 111251267A to connect the muffler with the heater boxes.
