Tail Light Reinforcement Plate (Gerätekasten – Verstärkungsblech Rückleuchte)
This tail light reinforcement plate is a faithful reproduction of the original component used on early Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen vehicles.
Manufactured exactly like the original, this pressed steel reinforcement plate features the correct cable openings and factory-style integrated M6 captive nuts for mounting the tail light brackets. It is spot-welded to the underside of the rear filler panel.
We also offer both the left and right versions of the rear filler panel:

On early Kübelwagen vehicles, this reinforcement plate was fitted on both the left and right sides. On later vehicles equipped with only the left-hand Notek tail light, the reinforcement plate was no longer installed on the right side.
