Rear Light Bracket – Notek (Halter Rückleuchten)
This rear light bracket is a sheet metal component used on the Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen and Type 21. From 1943 onward, it was spot-welded to the rear engine lid after the introduction of the revised rear lid design with short pressings on the left side, providing space for the painted registration number.
The bracket served as the mounting point for the NOTEK convoy rear light and was spot-welded directly to the rear engine lid.
This bracket is identical to the original part. It is not bent on a press brake but properly stamped, resulting in side walls of correct and equal height, matching the original factory component. Many reproduction parts are simply bent, which does not allow accurate dimensions or correct shape.
