OEM-style muffler is the perfect solution for those seeking perfection in their classic KdF Beetle and early Split Window Beetle rebuilds. With the help of original documentation and a NOS (New Old Stock) Beetle Type 60 muffler as a pattern, we have recreated all the correct OEM features such as casted flanges, correct diameter runners, same sheet metal thickness, and internal baffle dimensions and location.
Our replica of the Volkswagen muffler is suitable for KdF Beetle Type 60, Type 82E and early Aircooled VW Type 1 Split Beetles produced up to 1948, equipped with 25HP engines.
Silencer is coated in heat resistant paint. The set includes pipe clamps to connect the muffler with the heater boxes.
