Lower torsion arm.
We are proud to introduce our Lower Suspension Arm, which exceeds the quality of the original VW design. Our Torsion Arms are manufactured in one piece using a steel forging process, which provides them with higher tensile and fatigue strength compared to traditional casting methods. All our trailing arms are made in Germany, machined on multi-axis CNC machines to meet the highest dimensional accuracy standards.
Our lower trailing arm accommodates an 18mm square torsion spring and is machined to a nominal journal diameter of 37mm. It differs from the late version in the circular shaped seal cross-section.
The WW2VW early version of the trailing arm is suitable for air-cooled Volkswagen KdF Beetle Type 60, Type 82E, and Kubelwagen Type 82 front suspension. It features a symmetrical design that fits both sides of the vehicle.
