Description
DIN 931 Bolt M8x40 – KZ 8G Marking (50 pcs)
This box contains 50 bolts manufactured according to DIN 931 specification with partial thread, size M8x40 mm. The bolts are produced with the historical KZ 8G head marking, identical to the markings commonly used on German bolts in the 1930s and 1940s.
The bolts feature the standard M8x1.25 mm thread, as used on original German hardware of the period.
The KZ brand was frequently used during the assembly of VW KdF, Kübelwagen, and Schwimmwagen vehicles. These bolts feature the same KZ 8G logo as found on original period hardware. The KZ 8G marking is a registered mark of our company.
The bolts are finished in black oxide and manufactured in strength class 8.8. They feature the correct 14 mm head size (SW14), matching the original hardware dimensions used on wartime German vehicles.
Bolts with a 14 mm head (SW14) were widely used on German vehicles of the period, including Wehrmacht vehicles as well as civilian production, and remained standard hardware until the end of the 1950s. Hardware of this type was also commonly used on vehicles produced by manufacturers such as BMW, Stoewer, Zündapp, Horch, Mercedes, Audi, Wanderer, Auto Union, and many other German manufacturers.
M8 bolts were also widely used on German motorcycles of the period produced by brands such as BMW, Zündapp, NSU, DKW, and many others.
The box contains 50 pieces.
