    Description

Front Bumper Set – Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen (Stoßstange, vorne)

This bumper set is a faithful reproduction of the original front bumper tube fitted to the Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen. It was mounted between the front towing hooks and used from body number 15371, most likely until the end of 1943.

To identify whether your Kübelwagen was originally equipped with a bumper, check the front hooks: they must have 14 mm diameter bolt holes and two additional small holes for the locking washers. If the hooks have smaller holes and no outer side drillings, your car left the factory without a bumper.

    Dimensions:
    – Tube diameter: 30 mm
    – Total length: 736 mm

    The complete set includes:
    – Front bumper tube
    – 2 fitted bolts (22 mm hex head, 14 mm unthreaded shaft, thread M12 x 1.75)
    – 2 locking washers

Made according to the original wartime pattern for correct fit and appearance.
