K type intake manifold.
In their late kdf cars starting with engine unit number 2-20292, Volkswagen implemented new aircooled 1131cc 25 hp engine. With this change, came improved version of manifold better known as “K-manifold”. New type of intake manifold offered better heat transfer than previous Box type induction manifold, thus all VW cars between march 1943 and april 1950 (engine unit nr. 20292 to 189691) where equipped in improved version.
Fits 25hp aircolled Type 1 beetle, kdf beetle Type 60, Kubelwagen Type 82, beetle Type 82E, Schwimmwagen Type 166.
