Steel inspection plug, early version
We offer a copy of the original VW inspection cap screw. This plug is located in several places on the Volkswagen Type 166 Schwimmwagen body, wherever there is an oil drain plug. When unscrewed, it allows you to gain access to the gearbox, engine, and transmission fluids. Additionally, it can act as a water drain plug in case of a flooded hull.
Here, we offer an early version of the plug that fits Type 166 Schwimmwagen cars produced up to 1943.
