We offer M8 SW14 special bonnet stay pivot bolts made from abrasion-resistant, high-tensile strength steel for enhanced durability. These specially designed bolts, featuring an increased pivot surface, were used in the hood stay of the VW Beetle Type 1, as well as similar models like the Type 14A Hebmüller, Type 60 KdF, and Type 82E Beetle. Additionally, the same bolts were used in the Volkswagen Type 2 Bus and Type 14A Hebmüller Cabriolet as engine compartment lid stay bolts. Each vehicle requires two of these special bolts per bonnet or engine lid stay.
