This is a high-quality stamped sheet metal panel that covers the rear section of the chassis tunnel, used in both the VW Type 82 Kübelwagen and the VW Type 60/82e Beetle. It can also be fitted to early postwar models.
The difference between versions appears in the area where the throttle, clutch, and choke cables pass through.
