Aluminium swing axle cover
We offer perfect copy of Volkswagen swing axle side cover, designed and made by WW2VW. The swing axle gearbox side plates are made through the process of aluminum casting and CNC machining, which ensures repeatability and high dimensional accuracy.
Our aluminum rear axle gearbox sideplate is a reproduction of the magnesium cover used in World War II-era aircooled VW`s, such as the KdF Beetle Type 1, Type 82 Kubelwagen, Type 82E and Schwimmwagen Type 166.
Aluminum side cover for the split gearbox can also be used as a replacement part for the sheet metal gearbox side cover (with the same dimensions but a different material) used after 1943 in air cooled Porsche and Volkswagen cars, including the Beetle Type 1, VW Bus Type 2, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, and Porsche 356 Pre-A/356A/356B/356C.
