Steering box thrust ball bearing.
We offer angular contact ball bearing for early and late Volkswagen steering boxes. Two of these bearings are used to support the steering box worm shaft.
Our bearings have the VW part number 411417225 and can be used as a replacement for the steering box bearing with part number 111415227. Both bearings share the same dimensions, with the only difference being the size of the bearing rear opening – 18mm for the early type bearing and 24mm for the late type bearing.
A 32mm outer diameter steering box ball bearing was used in a wide variety of Volkswagen aircooled models, including the Split Window and Oval Window Beetle Type 1, KdF Beetle Type 60, Type 82 Kubelwagen, Type 82E, and Schwimmwagen Type 166.
