Windshield Canvas Cover – Late Type 82 (Autumn 1943–1945)
This windshield canvas cover is a faithful reproduction of the final production version used on Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen vehicles from autumn 1943 until the end of production.
Manufactured using our own custom-made canvas, developed exclusively for WW2VW, this cover faithfully reproduces the appearance and construction of the original. The canvas features the correct beige color, authentic weave pattern, and the distinctive red tracer thread woven into the fabric, just like the original wartime material. It is also fully waterproof.
The edge binding is manufactured from custom-made leatherette (skai), produced exclusively for us to match the original material in both appearance and texture.
